The 2013 Richmond Football Club Family Day is on Sunday, February 24 at Burnley Park (Circus site), off Swan Street, Richmond from 10.30am – 2.00pm.

Family Day will be jam-packed with fun activities and entertainment including, live music, face painting, amusement rides, sponsor giveaways, lucky dip and more.

For those getting to the venue early, a special edition of Talking Tigers, Richmond's official podcast, can be heard live from 10am until 10.45am, featuring interviews with Richmond CEO Brendon Gale and Chris Newman.

All Richmond players will be in attendance, autographs will take place in various marquees from 10.30am–11.30am and again from 12.00pm–1.00pm.

The jumper presentation will commence on stage at 1.00pm, at this time you will hear from Richmond President, Gary March and senior coach, Damien Hardwick.

Picnic rugs and chairs are welcome, and food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site.

PARKING

There is limited street parking available around the venue. Parking is available for all Richmond members and supporters in the Yarra Park car park for $10 per car. Access to the car park will be via Gate 6 off Punt Road, please refer to below map.

For those that park in Yarra Park, you will have access to free bus transfers to and from the event.

The bus stop will be positioned outside the Tigerland Superstore, shuttle buses will depart from here every 15minutes. The first three shuttle buses will depart the club at 9.40am, 9.45am and 9.50am

The Tigerland Superstore, located at the Brunton Avenue end of the ground will be open from 9am.  This will allow supporters who park at the MCG to pre-purchase their merchandise, rather than waiting until they arrive at Family Day.  Richmond memberships can also be purchased from the Superstore on the day.




 


 


 


 


 


 


 


 


 


 


 


 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Due to limited parking at the venue public transport is suggested.

Tram – Take the number 70 tram (Wattle Park/Waterfront Docklands) to Madden Grove/Swan Street stop.

Train – The closest train station is Burnley train station on either the Glen Waverly, Belgrave, Lilydale or Alamein line. Once at Burnley station take the number 70 tram to Wattle Park and hop off at Madden Grove/Swan Street stop.
