It hasn’t taken talented Richmond midfielder Reece Conca long to hit his straps after being sidelined for several weeks with a foot injury.
Conca, who returned to the Tigers’ line-up for the Round 12 match against Adelaide, and was a solid contributor in the 38-point win that day, was one of the best afield in last Saturday night’s 10-goal victory over the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium.
He picked up 21 disposals, including an equal game-high, eight inside-50 entries, and kicked two valuable goals.

“I pulled up a little bit sore from the first game back early in the week, but recovered nicely, and I thought it was just a nice, solid game,” Conca told “Roar Vision”.
“It was good to get a couple of goals and really contribute that way.
“I’m hopefully going to build from that, get some match fitness back to its peak, and just play my role for the team.”
It’s that emphasis on playing a role for the team, which is underpinning Richmond’s progress midway through the year.
The Tigers are winning games on the back of on an even spread of contributors, rather than depending on outstanding individual efforts to achieve success.
“Our depth has been really good,” Conca said.
“Everyone’s starting to play really good, consistent footy.
“We’re not relying on one or two blokes, which is great. We’ve got an even spread of goalkickers, as well, which really helps.”
