‘Talking Tigers’, presented by Audio-Visual partner, Bang & Olufsen, pays special tribute to the greatest league football showman of them all – Lou Richards – on this week’s show.
‘Louie the Lip’, as he was affectionately known, may have been a Collingwood star, but he transcended club allegiances through his wonderful media work, which entertained so many football fans for so many years.
In the latest TT episode, Lou’s strong family connection to Richmond, his love-hate relationship with Tiger ‘Immortal’ Jack Dyer, plus some amusing memories of him, are discussed.
The TT team also dissect Richmond’s narrow loss to Western Bulldogs last Saturday night and preview this Sunday’s clash with Fremantle, while in the ‘Spirit of ‘67’ segment the 50-year anniversary of Francis Bourke’s senior debut with the Tigers is featured.
Remember, if the Tigers turn you on make sure you turn on to Talking Tigers.

Greeners: “He’s been like a rat in a famine and he still has those characteristics of native cunning. He’d survive where a lot of people would turn it up, he’s resourceful, if he went to the moon he’d find five cents there for sure.”
