Star Richmond key forward Jack Riewoldt has revealed the blossoming nature of his relationship with the Tigers’ prized 2019 recruit Tom Lynch.
Riewoldt and Lynch both played valuable roles up forward in Richmond’s rousing six-point win against the West Coast Eagles at the MCG yesterday, kicking five of the team’s 13 goals between them (Riewoldt two, Lynch three).

In a post-match interview with Fox Footy, Riewoldt heaped praise on his new teammate for the immense immediate impact he’s had at Tigerland this season.
“It’s great. I really like playing with him. I think he likes playing with me,” Riewoldt said.
“I’ve actually learned a lot from him as well, just with the way he prepares.
“Funnily enough, I’ve sort of hitched my wagon to him a little bit because I’ve had obviously a bit of an indifferent season this year with injury and missing a lot of footy.
“So he’s been setting a great example for all the key forwards, and all the forwards, and the Club as well.
“He’s fitted in perfectly, he’s a fantastic guy . . . certainly is a Richmond man.”
