Richmond premiership defender Nathan Broad has set a new record for the highest winning percentage among current-day players in the AFL competition who have played a minimum of 50 games.
The Tigers’ six-point victory over West Coast in yesterday’s classic at the MCG, which was Broad’s 50th game, took his winning strike-rate to 80 percent.

Broad has played in 40 wins and 10 losses from his 50 games.
He’s been a valuable role player in the backline for Richmond since debuting at senior level during the second half of the 2016 season through his pace, hardness at the contest and ability to negate tall and small opposition forwards.
This season, Broad is averaging 12.3 disposals, 4.8 intercepts, 3.9 marks and 4.5 one-percenters per game.
In the Round 22 win against the Eagles, he had 10 disposals, with seven intercepts, four marks, three tackles and six one-percenters.
