The 27-year-old will be a welcome inclusion with her contested ability and tough nature, as she returns from a hamstring tendinopathy injury that occurred during the pre-season.

She replaces star midfielder Ellie McKenzie, who will miss Round 2 with an ankle injury she sustained in Sunday's opening round win over Brisbane.

Richmond's three emergencies for the Friday night match are Molly Eastman, Charli Wicksteed and Jemima Woods.

The clash will be Richmond's first home game of the season, with the Tigers playing their home matches in 2023 at Ikon Park due to the Punt Road Oval redevelopment.

Friday night's game will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo Sports.

Available Tigers who haven't been selected in the Round 2 side will play in a scrimmage on Saturday morning from 11.30am at the Swinburne Centre, with players from other Clubs also taking part.
