Richmond had the equal-second most debutants in the 2023 AFL home-and-away season.

A total of six player debuted with the Tigers this year – Sam Banks, Jacob Bauer, Tom Brown, Matthew Coulthard, James Trezise and Tylar Young.

That is the same amount as West Coast. Only Hawthorn, with seven, had more in 2023.

Since the 2020 premiership, Richmond has introduced 16 young players to AFL football – the six named above, plus Rhyan Mansell (2021), Ben Miller (2021), Hugo Ralphsmith (2021), Maurice Rioli Jr (2021), Samson Ryan (2021), Judson Clarke (2022), Noah Cumberland (2022), Josh Gibcus (2022), Bigoa Nyuon (2022) and Tyler Sonsie (2022).
