Richmond fans are counting down the days until the start of the AFL season on March 29, but for the Club’s VFL-affiliate, Coburg, the season-opener comes five days earlier.
The Coburg Tigers will kick off their 2012 campaign this Saturday, March 24, against the Northern Blues at Mantello Holden Oval (21 Harding Street, Coburg).
The seniors’ match starts at 1.10pm, with the Development League match preceding that at 10.10am.
This year’s Richmond members will receive free entry into the ground upon presentation of their 2012 membership card.
The match will also be televised live on ABC-TV, and broadcast on radio station SEN.
