Nick Vlastuin and Shai Bolton starred for Richmond in their respective milestones in last night’s blockbuster Dreamtime at the ‘G’ encounter.
The talented multi-premiership Tigers did everything in their collective power to try and lift the team to victory.
Vlastuin produced a trademark, top-class performance across Richmond’s backline in his 200th AFL game.
He had a season-high 22 disposals, a team-high and season-high 11 marks, five rebound-50s, eight intercepts and 412 metres gained.
Bolton, playing his 100th game, finished with 28 disposals, a game-high 13 contested possessions, a game-high seven inside-50s, five clearances, five intercepts, two goals, six score involvements, seven tackles and 482 metres gained.
Had the Tigers won, I reckon Bolton would have been awarded the Yiooken Award as best afield in the Dreamtime game for a second time (he was a previous recipient in 2020).
The brilliant small forward/midfielder is averaging 21.2 disposals and 1.3 goals per game so far this season.
