Relentless-running Richmond wingman Kamdyn McIntosh continues to go about his on-field business in a quiet but efficient manner.
The dual premiership Tiger doesn’t attract the outside attention of his more high-profile teammates, however he is a very valuable member of the line-up.
McIntosh’s performance against West Coast at the MCG last Sunday underlined why he’s so highly regarded within the four walls at Tigerland.
He finished the match with 17 disposals, eight marks, two goals, an equal team-high nine score involvements and 330 metres gained.
Those two goals were from set shots following marks. And he steered them through with trademark surety.
“It was good reward for effort,” McIntosh told Richmond Media post-game.
“There are some games where you might go missing, some games that you’re involved. But it was one of those games where I got involved.
“It was good.”
McIntosh is averaging 15.9 disposals, 5.0 marks, 3.1 inside-50s, 3.1 score involvements and 365.9 metres gained per match this season.
