In 2025, footy will continue to bring us together.
Over the years, our Tiger Army has proven that, in any weather, they will gather in force to cheer on our mighty Tigers.
As we gear up for the 2025 season, we are excited to see our Tiger Army’s connection grow even stronger. No matter the time of day, we know our sea of Richmond supporters will be louder and prouder than the opposition.
As we approach our Round 1 blockbuster at the MCG, we reflect on some highlights from 2024. As a Club, we have worked hard to provide greater transparency, rewards and engagement opportunities for our members and fans. Now, we are excited to bring you a deeper look at our attendance numbers last season, and what is ahead in 2025.
2024 Season highlights
In 2024, we saw fantastic attendance across the board. Here are some key stats that reflect our community’s commitment to showing up:
- Across the season, 523,425 Richmond members walked through the gates at our home games.
- Our average attendance per game was 47,584 with member show rate averaging 47.3%
- The most active age group was 50-59 years, closely followed by 20-29 years.
- Richmond members living in the 3121 postcode (our home) topped the attendance list, with a strong turnout from 3977 (Cranbourne). Shoutout to our Cranbourne Tiger Army!
- We had two remarkable members over 100 years old! One of them attended nine home games — an incredible achievement.
Fun fact: When our crowds hit 60,000+, our team tends to perform exceptionally well. So, please do not underestimate the power of a full stadium!
