Richmond has named its Round 1 side, with three debutants included for the clash against Carlton at the MCG.
As announced on Monday, No.1 Draft pick Sam Lalor, alongside No.21 and No.23 picks, Luke Trainor and Harry Armstrong, respectively, will debut for the club.

Lalor recovered from a fractured jaw and concussion to earn the call up, with Trainor and Armstrong proving their wares across pre-season.
Senior coach Adem Yze lauded the trio of youngsters for their tenacity in their early days at Tigerland, declaring they have earned the jumpers.
“We had to be really measured with the way we selected the team," Yze said on Wednesday.
“They’re (the debutants) highly-talented kids, but they’re in really good form.
“'Train' (Trainor) came into the game in our last practice match. He just knows how to find the ball and he gives our defence a different dynamic. He can play tall and small, is a beautiful ball user and great decision maker.
“Sammy Lalor just had to tick the boxes on concussion protocols. He hadn’t missed a beat up until his concussion.
“Having two weeks off going through those protocols does throw you out a little bit, so close to the season. We just had to make sure he completed enough of a training block to be available for Round 1, and he did.
“He was always ready to go. He’s a strong body, his form warranted that anyway."
Armstrong will line-up next to 220-gamer Tom Lynch, who excitingly returns from his extended stint on the sidelines.
“Harry hasn’t missed a beat. He’ll come up against some big opposition, some quality defenders over the next month. He deserved the opportunity," Yze said.
Meanwhile, Lynch's return will bolster the forward stocks, as he looks to put together the consistency that saw him claim the 2022 Jack Dyer Medal.
Yze was confident the 32-year-old had done the work to slot back into the side to lead the young forward line of Jacob Bauer, Lalor, Rhyan Mansell, Steely Green and Seth Campbell.
“It’s a funny one. There’s a lot of excitement around guys playing their first game, whereas there’s just as much excitement for me watching the amount of work that Lynch has put in," Yze said.
“And not only the work, the disappointment that he hasn’t been out there for the last couple of years and the big chunks of footy that he’s missed.
“The volume of work he got, not only at the end of last year, but pre-season up until his head knock, was the best output he’s had in a pre-season for a long time.
“The type of guy he is, it’s going to be really important for our young forward line."
Veteran defenders Nick Vlastuin and Nathan Broad will lead a youthful backline, with debutant Trainor to line up alongside Ben Miller, Tom Brown and Jacob Blight.
Kaleb Smith, Maurice Rioli and Samson Ryan have been named as emergencies for the clash.
Round 1 kicks off Thursday night from 7.30pm at the MCG and will be broadcast live of Fox Footy, Kayo Sports and 7.
