Two-time premiership Tiger Jack Graham produced the best performance of his five-year, 75-game AFL career against North Melbourne at the MCG yesterday.

Graham played a pivotal role in Richmond’s 33-point win with exemplary work through the midfield, on the back of his trademark gut-running.

The 23-year-old finished the match with an AFL career-high 36 disposals, career-high eight marks, equal game-high seven inside-50s, game high and equal career-high 10 score involvements, game-high eight tackles and team-high 472 metres gained.

He told Fox Footy in a post-game interview that belief remained strong within the Tigers’ playing group.

“We know when we play our best footy, we can challenge anyone. So, it’s just about bringing that each week,” he said.

“We haven’t been playing our best footy this year, but we’re building on that brand . . .”

Graham is averaging an AFL career-high 19.1 disposals and 288.3 metres gained per match this season, as well as 3.9 inside-50s, 5.2 score involvements and 5.7 tackles.

He is ranked eighth in the competition for total tackles.
