At the halfway mark of the 2019 AFL home-and-away season, Richmond is in sixth place on the ladder with seven wins and a percentage of 101.3.

So, how does that stack up in comparison to the same stage of recent seasons (since 2013), when the Tigers have gone on to play finals?

Here’s a snapshot of Richmond’s record after 11 games, and where it finished on the ladder at the conclusion of the home-and-away rounds in those seasons . . .

2013: Seventh, seven wins, 114.3%. Finished fifth, 15 wins, 122.8%.

2014: 13th, three wins, 94.4%. Finished eighth, 12 wins, 105.8%.

2015: Eighth, six wins, 108.0%. Finished fifth, 15 wins, 123.1%.

2017: Fourth, seven wins, 111.6%. Finished third, 15 wins, 118.3%.

2018: Second, nine wins, 140.5%. Finished first, 18 wins, 136.1%.

In 2016, when the Tigers finished 13th at the end of the home-and-away season, with eight wins and a percentage of 79.5, they had been in 14th place after 11 games with four wins and a percentage of 81.8.
