Bachar Houli has a decent dose of ‘leather poisoning’ right now.
The veteran Richmond star rebounding defender racked up an AFL career-high 38 disposals in last Friday night’s loss to North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium, a week after picking up what was then a record 37 touches for him in the Dreamtime at the ‘G victory over Essendon.
He has had 30 disposals or more in his past four games and is averaging 29.6 disposals for the season, along with 6.4 rebound-50s, 6.1 marks and 3.4 tackles.
Competition-wide, Houli is ranked first in bounces per game and fifth in metres gained per game.
