Richmond and its valued partner, ME Bank, are getting behind this year's Mother’s Day Classic on Sunday, May 10, to help raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The Club’s support of the event will continue for a fifth year in 2015.
Participants are encouraged to join the walk or run by registering to be a part of the 'Team Up With Richmond' group.
There are 4km or 8km walk or run options, around the Alexandra Gardens and the Tan Track, in Melbourne.
If running and walking isn't your thing, you can still join in the fun of the day by volunteering to help out, or come along and support the participants and enjoy the entertainment around the course. Donations are also welcome.
All proceeds from the Mother's Day Classic are donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation which promotes and supports research into breast cancer prevention and treatment.
Over 17 years, the Mother's Day Classic has raised $24.3 million for breast cancer research.
