Three more promising young players have signed new contracts with Richmond . . .

Matt Dea, Jeromey Webberley and Andrew Browne join fellow youngsters Alex Rance, Dylan Grimes, Reece Conca, Brad Helbig and Jake Batchelor, who have all recently re-committed to the Club.

Dea has signed a two-year deal, while Webberley and Browne have both agreed to one-year deals.

Although he has managed only seven senior games in his two seasons of AFL football, Dea is highly regarded by the Tigers.

The 20-year-old impressed late in the season as a lock-down defender, after enduring a lengthy period on the sidelines throughout the year due to injury.

Webberley, 23, was mainly used as a substitute in his five senior appearances during the 2011 season, but he still managed to have an impact in that role through his hard running and kicking skills.

Browne, 21, added seven games to his AFL career tally this year, shouldering the team’s ruck responsibility for a decent patch mid-season, and displaying admirable qualities in the process.
