When I left you guys last season, we were in the middle of the 2011 report card.
Without getting into much detail due the report cards irrelevance to the 2012 season. I won’t be including our delisted players from last season. I chose not to rate
Moore, Astbury, Griffiths, Derickx, McDonald or Daniel Connors because in my opinion they didn’t get a real crack this season through injury or personal problems.
I’m really hoping these guys can get a good chance to show off their talents. Here are the grades for the rest of our boys!

Just place them in the comments section below I really enjoy reading them! Oh and I’m graduating this month Ray, sorry for keeping you waiting throughout the summer. The exams went great.
Back to March 2012. What an interesting game on the weekend against Fremantle. I didn’t know what to take out of it, simply because half our senior team was missing for the second half, and the whole game.
Richmond’s disposal at times was woeful. We looked much crisper with our squad a few weeks ago against North Melbourne & Hawthorn. We saw sloppy handballs that missed the target, short 15 meter passes that were intercepted and even some awkward out on the full kicks through the first ten rows of the crowd.
I thought Fremantle put tremendous pressure on our players throughout the whole match and instead of belting the ball to our forward’s advantage through the midfield, our players continually chipped in between Fremantle’s press. This led to some seriously deflating turnovers. I don’t know about you guys, but I hope we don’t see this in round one.
Richmond had some strong positives in the match as well. Steven Morris throws his body on the line when it counts. He runs back with the flight and contests marks that need to be contested. What I love most about Morris is his ability to make impact without giving away that silly free kick.
Arnot’s burst out of the midfield, Ivan’s impact around the ground, Addam’s poise and Ellis’ booming kick were lovely to watch. I’m not taking the actual result too seriously; I’m just hoping Round 1 results in a Richmond win. We need to put those Blue baggers in place.
Go Tiges!
