The Tigers have named a 26-man team for the match, which will be played over four 20-minute quarters plus time on, as it is in a Home and Away match.
Both teams, however, will be able to make an unlimited amount of interchanges.
Exciting youngsters Tom Brown, Maurice Rioli Jnr and Kane McAuliffe have been named for their first hit out of 2025.
Draftees Harry Armstrong and Luke Trainor will make their first appearances in Yellow and Black after missing last week due to illness and load management, respectively.
Fellow draftee Thomas Sims has also been named among the eight-man interchange.
Tom Lynch will miss the clash, given his recent interrupted training block after his careful graduation through the concussion protocols.
The 32-year-old is fully expected to face Carlton in Round 1 on March 13.
Josh Smillie will also miss the game as he continues to increase his training loads following a hamstring injury.
Other absentees through injury include Sam Lalor (jaw/concussion), Jonty Faull (back), Hugo Ralphsmith (hamstring) and Dion Prestia (Achilles).
Jacob Koschitzke, Kaleb Smith, Jasper Alger and Campbell Gray have been named emergencies, with each set to play in Richmond’s VFL practice match against Collingwood on Thursday morning.

Richmond and Collingwood will again be playing for the Charity Shield as part of the AAMI Community Series match.
All profits from ticket sales to the match will be donated to Foodbank, which will help provide food to Victorians experiencing financial hardship.
Foodbank feeds 1.4 million Victorians every three weeks, the same number as the proud football state’s population was when Richmond faced Collingwood for the first time in the VFL back in 1908.
It is the second Charity Shield after the two clubs raised 120,000 meals for Foodbank in the inaugural edition last year.
