Richmond VFL’s 2025 fixture has been confirmed, with Round 1 through to 13 released fully fixtured.

All of the Tigers’ opponents for the season were confirmed by the AFL on Tuesday afternoon, with game details and venues revealed for the opening 13 rounds.

Due to the impending redevelopment of Punt Road Oval, the VFL Tigers will be playing home games at various venues throughout the season.

The Tigers will start their 2025 campaign on Sunday, March 23 against Coburg at Holm Park.

Courtesy of the Club’s partnership with Cardinia council, the VFL Tigers will play select home games at Holm Park in Beaconsfield this season.

Round 1 is followed by a pair of double headers against AFL-aligned opponents, Sandringham at RSEA Park on Saturday, March 29 and Brisbane at Holm Park on Saturday, April 5 in Rounds 2 and 3, respectively.

The Tigers will feature on Friday night when they face Frankston at Kinetic Stadium in Round 4.

The ANZAC Eve and Dreamtime double headers will once again feature in Richmond VFL’s fixture, with the Tigers set to take on Casey at Casey Fields in Round 7 and Essendon at Windy Hill in Round 9 prior to the respective AFL clashes.

The Tigers will play AFL-aligned opponents Box Hill in Round 6 on the same weekend as the AFL clash, followed by a quartet of double headers; Round 8 vs North Melbourne on Sunday, May 18, Round 9 vs Essendon on Friday, May 23, Round 10 vs GWS on Saturday, May 31 and Round 11 vs Sydney on Saturday, June 7.

The double header on Saturday, March 31 is a highlight of the upcoming season, with the Tigers set to travel north to take on GWS as a curtain raiser at ENGIE Stadium from 12:30pm.

Round 13 vs Footscray on Sunday, June 22 also features as a double header in the Tigers’ fixture.

As well as a league-wide bye occurring between Rounds 3 and 4 for the men’s representative match to be played between VFL and SANFL during the AFL’s Gather Round in Adelaide, the team will have three byes in Rounds 7, 12 and 17.

The best VFL-listed players from the 21-team competition will be selected to represent the ‘Big V’. More details about venue and match time will be confirmed soon.

All matches in the 2025 Smithy’s VFL and VFLW seasons will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App. Smithy’s VFL broadcast partner, the Seven Network, will broadcast select matches live and free on the Seven Network in Victoria and on 7plus nationally.
