But as the immediate focus is on Free Agency and the trade period, the Tigers’ recruiters are also in heavy planning mode for the National Draft.
This year, the National Draft is on the Gold Coast, and will take place on the evening of Thursday, November 22.
The AFL has released the current order of selection for the Draft - a document which is subject to change throughout October.
At this stage, Richmond has pick nine in the first round, pick 29 and 31 in the second round (pick 29 is a compensation selection which the Club elected to activate earlier this year), and pick 50 in the third round.

The Draft Combine also begins today at Etihad Stadium, which will see this year’s Draft hopefuls put through their paces to gauge their potential for AFL selection.
