Sam Lalor
Fractured jaw, available
“That was very unlucky for Sam, back over at West Coast, being pushed into that contest."
“He’s held himself high throughout the whole rehab process and put himself in the best position to be selected to play this week."
Tom Lynch
Concussion, available
“Tom Lynch was out there training really well. Got a lot of confidence in (to) him.
"He’s through his concussion protocols now and no doubt he’ll be a discussion upstairs for match committee."
Dion Prestia
Achilles, 3-5 weeks
“There’s not much change to Dion at the moment. We said a couple of weeks ago that he’d miss the first few rounds of the AFL season, and that’s about where he’s at. He’s progressing well and that’s good for him."
Hugo Ralphsmith
Hamstring, 3-5 weeks
“Hugo’s got an interesting one. He can look quite good, but you probably need to put him in a holding pattern for a while, just to protect him from himself."
"He’s tracking just as we said a few weeks ago, probably miss the first few rounds, but progressing well."
Josh Smillie
Hamstring, 2-4 weeks
“The one with Josh Smillie was more around we weren’t sure how he’s progressing and healing, so we got the extra scan for him and it showed that it wasn’t progressing as well as what we’d like. So we put him in bit of a holding pattern."
“The last couple of sessions he’s shown some promise. I’m sure the fans are keen to see him out there and so are we, but we’ll make sure we keep looking after him."
Jonty Faull
Back, Test
“Jonty is doing well also. Obviously, he came to the club with that back stress fracture, so for him, he’s integrating into some football now and enjoying it."
“He got through two 20-minute halves of match sim last week. We’re really happy with his progress and we'll just monitor how he is healing going over the next little while."
Judson Clarke and Mykelti Lefau
ACLs, TBC
“It’s exciting times for Mykelti and also for Judson. Juddy’s probably the first one back of the group and he’s still on track for that. Also, Mykelti’s starting to integrate with a few drills."
“The other day (Mykelti) was able to get through a full training session with a non-contact hat on, so the excitement around them at the moment is really fine-tuning the last little bits of their rehab and we should see them out (there) in a reasonable amount of time."
