WHAT ARE WE WEARING?
Richmond will be wearing their Anzac Day Eve Guernsey, featuring the golden wattle flower as the club's famous yellow sash to pay tribute to those who have served their country.
Wattle has a deep connection with the Australian Defence Force, its powerful symbolism prominent throughout Australian War efforts. The wattle has remained a symbol of unity and resilience for Australian people during challenging times. Wattle withstands Australia’s droughts, winds, and bushfires, and has become a representation of the nation’s ongoing spirit.
A percentage of the proceeds from Richmond’s Anzac Day Eve jumper will go towards the RSL’s ANZAC Appeal, supporting the families of soldiers past and present.
