The significance of being inducted into Richmond’s Hall of Fame has been encapsulated in a special short video, promoting this year’s prestigious function.
Famous Tigers of old, and Club Hall of Fame inductees, Tommy Hafey and Michael Green, describe what their induction meant to them. And, current-day player, Steven Morris, tells why today’s Tigers are looking forward to being there when the next chapter in Richmond’s proud history is revealed at the 2013 Hall of Fame Dinner.

“Being inducted into the Hall of Fame, it gives you a great feeling of real status there . . . you just feel so proud,” Hafey said.
“It’s a really special thing, because I think football is a really special thing.”
Green concurred with the sentiments of his four-time premiership coach.
“With so many wonderful people that have been involved in the Club, to actually get public acknowledgment, as a significant figure in the Club’s history, is a great honor indeed.”
Morris, whose father, Kevin, played in two Richmond premiership sides, was typically passionate in talking about the Tigers’ rich heritage.
“It’s really important for the current playing group to understand, and realise, what it means to be a Hall of Famer at such a great club,” he said.
“To be able to see four people into the club (Hall of Fame) and what it means to them, and their families as well, so many years later, it will be a great night.”
