In 1998, renowned Melbourne musician Mike Brady (of “Up There Cazaly” fame), released a special album of football songs dedicated to 13 of the game’s all-time greats.
The first track on side two of the LP record, was “The infamous Captain Blood” – a stirring tribute to Richmond’s ‘Immortal’ Jack Dyer.
As part of our special Jack Dyer week, in the lead-up to his 100th birthday on Friday (November 15), we bring you the rousing Mike Brady Captain Blood ballad.
