Richmond development coach Mark Williams has some advice for the Club’s highly-rated, young midfielder, Nick Vlastuin, as he prepares to make his AFL debut in tonight’s Round 5 clash with Fremantle at Patersons Stadium . . .

“Just try hard and get your head down. That’ll be all we’re looking for . . .
“I’m sure he’ll be up to it.”
Williams is convinced that Richmond’s first pick in the 2012 AFL National Draft has the necessary attributes to go on and have a long, successful, league career.
“Every time you give him an opportunity at a different level, he steps up,” Williams said.
“He’s really diligent, too. He comes and sees me, he watches his tapes, he prepares, he looks at his opposition, he writes reports on how he played and the things he needs to work on during the week, and he just does it.
“He will make the grade, and he will get there pretty quickly.”
