Richmond President Peggy O’Neal will be available for a web chat with Tiger fans tomorrow (Friday, May 9) from 12-1pm on richmondfc.com.au.
Having being in the presidential role for more than six months now, O’Neal is embracing the challenges and opportunities as head of an AFL club.
This week, the AFL celebrated the various roles of women in football, from Auskick participants, players, goal umpires, operational managers, and club presidents.
O’Neal believes diversity in all its forms is important and necessary to operating any business.
“In bringing diverse views around the table, there’s a tremendous amount of research which shows that makes better decision making,” O’Neal says.
“The best decisions are those that have been tested through a variety of perspectives, and women bring one part of that diversity.”
On Friday, O’Neal will be available to the Yellow and Black faithful to answer questions about the Club.
