Here are 12 facts about Richmond’s latest free agency signing, Troy Chaplin

1.    He played his junior football with Maryborough and then, the North Ballarat Rebels, in the TAC Cup.
2.    He also was a star junior basketballer, representing Victoria at under-18 level.
3.    He made his AFL debut for Port Adelaide in Round 4, 2004 against Melbourne at the MCG, in Richmond coach Damien Hardwick’s last year as a player with the Power.
4.    He earned an AFL Rising Star nomination in Round 16, 2006.
5.    He had a career-high 32 disposals against North Melbourne in the 2007 preliminary final at AAMI Stadium, and against St Kilda in Round 5, 2010 at AAMI Stadium.
6.    He had 25 disposals in Port’s 119-point Grand Final loss to Geelong in 2007.
7.    He took a career-high 15 marks against Brisbane in Round 14, 2009 at AAMI Stadium.
