Last Sunday (August 14), more than 2000 members of the Tiger Army marched on to the famous Punt Road Oval, where they enjoyed all the festivities on offer at Richmond’s final “Before the Pounce” event for the season. 

As a show of appreciation for the wonderful support the Club receives from its loyal, passionate supporters, a free sausage sizzle was provided and Tiger fans of all ages revelled in the atmosphere of the occasion. 

They obtained autographs from current players, as well as 1980 premiership heroes Barry Rowlings, Emmett Dunne and Dale Weightman, and had their photos taken with the prized 1980 premiership cup. 

Young Tiger fans particularly enjoyed the Australian Power & Gas Kids clinic and the AFL PlayGround ‘Specky’ machine.
