A classic opportunistic goal from Shane Edwards has been voted the 7th best goal of the 2015 season by Richmond fans.
With the game in the balance during the second quarter of the Round 15 clash with Carlton, midfielder Brandon Ellis broke free along the wing and sent the ball inside 50 to a contest involving Nathan Gordon.
The ball sailed over Gordon’s head and toward the boundary line, but Edwards swooped at top pace, gathered and kicked truly with the outside of his right foot.
The number seven goal of the year, as voted by Richmond fans, will be revealed tomorrow, Wednesday September 30.
