Hot Pies:
Collingwood v Geelong
COLLINGWOOD by 30
Geelong is back on the winners’ list, but can’t be confidently backed to give you a leg up here. On the other side of the coin, it’s hard to bet against Collingwood, which has four wins from five matches. The Pies had 15 individual goalkickers last round, and this could give them the edge.
Top Tip:
Western Bulldogs v St Kilda
WESTERN BULLDOGS by 41
Few would have predicted the Dogs would be sitting third on the ladder after five games. The Saints played well last week, narrowly losing to the Bombers, but with the likes of Stewart Crameri, Tom Boyd and Marcus Bontempelli firing, the Dogs will be hard to stop.
The Buddy Show:
Melbourne v Sydney
SYDNEY by 41
Both teams are coming off losses, but the Swans should be better equipped to bounce back, and will be looking to make amends immediately. ‘Buddy’ Franklin and Kurt Tippet will be hard to handle up front – expect Buddy to kick bag.
Bombers Fly West:
Fremantle v Essendon
FREMANTLE by 39
It’s hard to go past the class and skill of the Dockers here. While some may be tempted to take the outsider after the Bulldogs’ upset of short-priced favourites Sydney last week, stick with Fremantle, which is looking a very dangerous side in 2015.
