A host of young talented has been injected into the Richmond VFL squad for this Saturday’s Round 15 clash with Sandringham at the ME Centre.
The Tigers are shooting for four straight wins, with confidence high following last week’s comeback victory against Port Melbourne.
Among the inclusions are Nathan Gordon and Matt McDonough, who played in the AFL last week, and defender Todd Elton, who returns from injury.
Young midfielder Corey Ellis will also return from his stint on the sidelines, having recovered from a hip flexor injury which has kept him out for the last month.
Richmond’s fourth pick in the 2014 National Draft, Dan Butler, has been named to play his first VFL game of the season, after a number of injury setbacks so far this season.
Sandringham is one of the form sides of the competition, sitting third on the ladder with nine wins, and coming off two wins in-a-row.
Saturday’s match is the only meeting between the two sides for the 2015 home-and-away season.
The game kicks off at 1.30pm, and is a curtain raiser to the AFL match between the Tigers and Dockers, at 4.35pm at the MCG.
