Top Tip:
West Coast v Carlton
WEST COAST by 10
West Coast has the upper hand here playing at home, even though they’ve lost their last two matches against the Blues. The loss of Dale Thomas will hurt Carlton while Masten, Rosa, Hurn, Priddis, and Shuey are all expected to lift for the Eagles to notch up their first win.  

Tiger Double:
Richmond v Western Bulldogs
RICHMOND by 19
The Tigers are currently favourite in what shapes up as a tough match, but should play the MCG better and come away with the win. Riewoldt and Lloyd with three each last week might find it easier here, and while the Dogs exhibited great defensive pressure around the ground last week, Richmond’s midfield should prove superior.  

The Upset:
Collingwood v Adelaide
COLLINGWOOD by 3
Both teams are coming off impressive wins but go with the Pies if you want to buck the trend. Your fellow tippers will side with the Crows who are the shorter priced favourite, but back at home Collingwood should have the edge.  

Interstate Affair:
Port Adelaide v Sydney
PORT ADELAIDE by 7
Another difficult match to predict, but again it’s hard to tip against the home team, especially at Adelaide Oval. Sydney weren’t convincing last week and Port will want to prove they are a force to be reckoned with this season.
