Richmond Football Club has congratulated Dan Richardson on his appointment as general manager of football at Essendon Football Club.

Richardson has spent the past five years as a key member of the Club’s football department.

“Dan has played an important role at the Club over the past five years and can look back with pride on the contribution he has made to our success,” Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said.

“We thank Dan, his wife Sally and their family for being a part of the Richmond Football Club and wish them all the best for the future.

“The Club’s football department has a number of highly credentialed and experienced administrators that will enable us to effectively manage all our football requirements as we continue our preparation for season 2018.”
