The VFL Tigers had their official season launch at Punt Road on Tuesday night, in preparation for their Round One clash against North Ballarat this weekend.
With CEO Brendan Gale and Club President Peggy O'Neal in attendance, a crop of the club's continuing and newly-recruited playing group received their official squad numbers from VFL and Development coach Craig McRae.
O'Neal said the VFL program was an integral part of the Richmond family.
"Our VFL program is very important to us," O'Neal said.
"Besides being a development tool, we like to think that we are one club with two teams".
Former Brisbane Lions defender Hugh Beasley received his No. 53 jumper ahead of his official debut for the Tigers this week, while newcomer Brandon Wood received No. 57.
Jayden Cass, Billy Coates, James Fletcher and Shaun Mannagh were also amongst those who received their numbers ahead of their first official VFL Tigers appearance.
