SUPERSTAR Richmond onballer Dustin Martin is tipped to go back-to-back and win the Brownlow Medal.

Martin polled three votes on AFL.com.au's Brownlow Predictor in the Tigers' win over the Western Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon, leaving him with a final tally of 25.

That was good enough to sit one vote clear of Melbourne big man Max Gawn (24), who also polled three as the Demons defeated Greater Western Sydney on Sunday.

Sharing third place were Carlton onballer Patrick Cripps and Collingwood ruckman Brodie Grundy, each on 23.

Long-time favourite Tom Mitchell, was expected to finish with 21 votes, equal with West Coast star Elliot Yeo.

Martin came home strongly to finish with eight votes in the final three games.

Despite criticism of Martin's season in some quarters, he has averaged 25.5 disposals and 1.4 goals per match.

The 27-year-old is ranked No.1 in the competition for total inside 50s and total score involvements, and No.2 for total centre clearances.

He will bring up his 200th career game in Richmond's qualifying final against Hawthorn in a fortnight.
