Richmond is delighted to announce that it has extended its longstanding partnership with the A.G. Coombs Group for two more years.

The extension through to the conclusion of the 2026 AFL and AFLW seasons will see the partnership reach a decade.

A.G. Coombs is Australia’s leading specialist provider of building services and has partnered with Richmond for facilities maintenance of building services, including air-conditioning, mechanical services, and fire protection, since 2016.

The partnership extension will see A.G. Coombs continue as the Club’s official facilities maintenance partner and as co-major partner of Richmond’s AFLW program.

A.G. Coombs has supported Richmond’s AFLW team since its first season in the elite competition in 2020, with the inaugural partners’ A.G. Coombs logo displayed on the back of the matchday playing guernseys.

A.G. Coombs will also prolong its outstanding support of the Korin Gamadji Institute (KGI), while working together with the KGI to instil a model for best practice in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community engagement, relating to future employment pathway programs.

Coombs continues their reconciliation journey including support with a number of initiatives associated with the current Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan. A.G. Coombs remains steadfast to embed the recognition, acknowledgement, and celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australian cultural heritage within their industry.

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said he was delighted the partnership with A.G. Coombs would reach 10 years.

“It is fitting that this highly successful partnership will reach a decade as it speaks to the fantastic ongoing relationship between both organisation and the depth of impact, we have been able to create,” he said.

“With the introduction of our AFLW program and increase in our community programming across this period, A.G. Coombs has been with us every step of the way, so we are thrilled this will continue into the future.”
