As announced on Thursday afternoon, mid-season draftee Blight will make his AFL debut against the Blues, just 32 days after becoming a Tiger.
Blight, who stands at 196cm, is an intercepting defender who has made an immediate impact at VFL level since arriving at at Club.
The 22-year-old, who will wear No. 51, has averaged 18.6 disposals, 7.6 marks and 5.6 inside-50s across three appearances, polling coaches votes in two of the games.
"He's in good form... we feel like he'll be able to impact at AFL level which is really impressive for a young kid that walked into our footy club three weeks ago," Richmond coach Adem Yze said when speaking to the media on Thursday morning.
"He's a pretty driven kid and he is 21 and a strong lad... he was always going to come in and hopefully impact straight away."
In a boost to the side's midfield, experienced Tiger Jacob Hopper will return to the line-up to face Carlton, after he injured his hamstring on Anzac Day Eve and consequentially missed the next six games.
Rounding out the inclusions is young wingman Sam Banks, who has been recalled for his seventh senior appearance of the season.
The 21-year-old racked up 20 disposals, nine marks, seven rebound-50s and five inside-50s in the VFL Tigers' most recent clash.
The three additions replace Tom Lynch, who will miss at least the next two weeks due to a hamstring strain, and omitted duo Thomson Dow and Noah Cumberland.
Yze said the Tigers were feeling "nice and fresh" coming out of the bye week.
"The boys had a few days off early last week and more importantly, they bounced in on Friday and Saturday, and had a really good session on Saturday," he said.
"Really looking forward to a big game in front of our Tiger Army this weekend against the Blues.
"We're coming up against a quality team that's in good form, our players can't wait to get out there on Sunday and really put forward what we've been training.
"A big rival, a big crowd and hopefully a nice day."
Tigers captain Toby Nankervis will celebrate his 150th AFL game on Sunday.
The Round 16 clash at the 'G begins at 3.20pm and can be viewed live on Channel 7, Fox Footy and Kayo Sports.
