Richmond VFL has confirmed its line-up for its Round 5 clash against Casey at the Swinburne Centre on Wednesday afternoon.  

Both sides will enter the Anzac Day Eve fresh off the Round 4 bye.

The Tigers, who will be back on their home deck, will look to respond from their 21-point loss against Werribee, while Casey will be aiming to register their second win of the season.

Three AFL-listed Tigers will join Richmond's side, Jacob Koschitzke, Tyler Sonsie and Steely Green.

The Tigers will also regain vice-captain Joel Garner, who returns to action following his stint on the sidelines for the concussion he sustained in Round 2 against Sydney.

Liam Thomas will become the seventh debutant for Richmond VFL this season, after impressing with his contested marking and aerial prowess since arriving at Tigerland in March this year.

Thomas, 20, is a 198cm ruckman and key forward who played a significant role in Old Camberwell’s successful 2023 season and subsequent promotion to Premier B in the VAFA. 

The pre-game Anzac Observance will commence at 1:40pm, while the first bounce is set for 2:05pm at the Swinburne Centre.  

The match will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App, and will be open to the public with free entry.
