That's a wrap on pre-season camp!

A huge final day awaited the team as buses departed the accomodation early on Thursday morning, not to return until late that afternoon.

The scenic Kilcunda beach was the destination for a gruelling three-hour morning session, which comprised of a 10-kilometre run, a 20-kilometre bike ride to Wonthaggi and back, and a demanding bootcamp session on the sand.

Line groups were up against each other once again for the three-part race. Hard-running Tigers Nathan Broad and Hugo Ralphsmith both impressed during the 10-kilometre effort, which panned across the picturesque Kilcunda Bridge.

The players were then rewarded for their hard work with a Mexican fiesta in the sun, thanks to Lime & Co Cantina.

Once refuelled for the afternoon, the Tigers were off to one last activity for their camp, paintballing at Bass Coast Paintball.

It was then time to celebrate a week of dedication and teamwork, with dinner on the balcony at the Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club, as the sun set on pre-season camp.

The live band kindly handed over their microphones as the group broke into karaoke, led by Tom Brown on the guitar.

Some of the most notable acts included Richmond’s new players belting out 'Take Me Home, Country Roads', and new coaches Adem Yze, Chris Newman and Jack Ziebell trying their hand at 'Blister in the Sun'.

On Friday, the group packed up their belongings, ate their breakfast, and gathered at the pool as the winner of the Tony Mangan Award was announced, as decided by Richmond Coterie members who joined the group the camp, Cliff Gale, Chris Homutowsky and Brett Vorhauer.

Remarking on what was an incredibly tough decision, Tom Brown, Sam Naismith, Dylan Grimes, Tyler Young and Kaleb Smith were all given special mentions.

But, ultimately, Judson Clarke was chosen as the winner for his positive energy, inclusive nature, and for being the "happiest guy to have ever kicked a football".

After an action-packed week, the group farewelled the Bass Coast Shire, reminiscing on a memorable, fun-filled trip. Back to Punt Road for regular programming!
