Reece Conca heads a list of four 2010 draftees that will line up for Richmond against the Indigenous All Stars at Traeger Park in Alice Springs this Friday night.

Conca - who was taken at number six with the Tigers first selection in last year’s draft - will be joined by fellow first-year players Jake Batchelor, Dean Macdonald and Tom Derickx.

Mature-age rookie Brad Miller will also wear the yellow and black for the first time. Four other Richmond rookies have been named in the 28-man squad - Pat Contin, Ben Jakobi, Jamie O’Reilly and Nick Westhoff.

Travis Casserley and Mitch Keddell are two of the three players fighting out for the final rookie spot on the Richmond list - they will both play against the All Stars as well.

“It is a very young team but it is a great opportunity for us to see what progress these guys have made during the pre-season,” Richmond coach Damien Hardwick said.

“It is really important a number of these players take significant steps forward this season to support our core group of senior players and it will be exciting to see how they handle their first game against what will be a very good Indigenous team.”

“The club is really pleased to be playing in this game and for these young players to experience this occasion and play in very different conditions, it can only be good for their development.”

The Indigenous All-Stars v Richmond match will be televised nationally on ABC1 from 8.30pm on Friday, 4 February
