Dea back
Tough Tiger teenager Matt Dea will play his first AFL game this season, when he lines up against the West Coast Eagles at Subiaco on Sunday.
Dea, who played three games for Richmond in his debut season last year, before suffering a broken foot, has been named on the half-back flank.
The 19-year-old has had an interrupted 2011 season due to shin splints, but has impressed in a couple of performances on the comeback trail with Coburg in the VFL.
In other changes to the Richmond squad for Sunday’s Round 20 match, Shaun Grigg returns after missing the Tigers’ last game before the bye with an eye injury, while Brad Miller, Mitch Farmer and Jeromey Webberley have also been recalled.
They have all been named on the extended interchange bench.
Out of the side goes captain Chris Newman, who has been sidelined with a knee injury and Jake Batchelor, who will miss due to a shoulder injury.
The Tiger team will be finalised tomorrow afternoon.
