In the advertisement, which depicts Jeep’s popular slogan, “Don’t Hold Back”, Cotchin is seen preparing in the rooms before a game, wading in the Club’s pool, working out on an exercise bike, running on to the MCG, lining up for a shot at goal, and steering it through for full points, accompanied in the background by glowing commentary of his play.
The reigning Jack Dyer Medallist explains his own “Don’t Hold Back” philosophy in the minute-long commercial, which will air publicly for the first time during Channel Seven’s coverage of tonight’s West Coast v Geelong game at Patersons Stadium.
“My dad’s always said to me, ‘Make every post a winner’. It’s how I’ve learned to live my life and play footy - always looking for the goal in whatever it is that I’m doing,” Cotchin declares.
