Trent Cotchin is on track to become the second longest-serving captain in Richmond’s history during the 2019 season.
Cotchin, who has captained the Tigers in 140 games all-up, is 20 games behind Club ‘Immortal’ Jack Dyer (160 games from 1940-49).

Dual Richmond premiership captain Percy Bentley holds the record at Tigerland for most games as skipper with 168 from 1932-40.
Cotchin filled in as the Tigers’ captain for the first time in the 2010 season.
He was officially given the Richmond captaincy at the end of 2012 and in 2017 he led the Tigers to their glorious, drought-breaking premiership.

Meanwhile, Damien Hardwick is poised to become Richmond’s second longest-serving coach in season 2019.
Hardwick, who took over the Tigers’ coaching reins in 2010, has coached them in 206 games.

Jack Dyer is currently Richmond’s second longest-serving coach with 222 games.
Four-time Tiger premiership coach Tommy Hafey holds the Club record with 248 games.
