Triple Richmond premiership small forward Jason Castagna was back to his best in last Saturday night’s Dreamtime in Perth victory over Essendon at Optus Stadium.
Castagna, who had kicked just one goal in his previous six games, hit the scoreboard and was lively right throughout the blockbuster clash.
He booted an equal game-high three goals, had 18 disposals all-up, and took a game-high/AFL career-high 12 marks.
That impressive number of marks highlighted his exemplary work-rate, running hard to get into open space and present as a leading option to teammates.
The 24-year-old has kicked a total of 13 goals (13.7) in 12 games this season and is averaging 12.8 disposals and 4.7 disposals per match.
