Richmond has made two changes to its line-up for Saturday night’s highly anticipated Dreamtime in Perth fixture against Essendon.
The Tigers have named Shane Edwards and Marlion Pickett for the crucial clash that will decide which of the two sides go to their mid-season bye inside the competition’s top eight.
Triple premiership star Edwards has made a timely recovery from an ankle injury for the showpiece fixture and will pull on the jumper he co-designed with his teammate of 16 seasons, Jack Riewoldt.

Having served a one-match suspension, Pickett who averages 16 disposals per game this year, will also return to the Richmond line-up.
The blockbuster will hold extra significance for Pickett and exciting youngster Shai Bolton, with the Indigenous pair set to experience a Dreamtime game in their home state of Western Australia.
Speaking to the media this week, senior coach Damien Hardwick added that Dreamtime was special for the entire football club.
“The significance of the event is really important,” he said.
“The Indigenous culture, not only from an Australian point of view but from our Club’s. It is a big foundation block of what Richmond is about.
“The significance of our Club is built off the back of that, (and) we are really privileged and honoured to play the game, and we hope that it is a big event.
“Perth has sold it out, which is outstanding.”
Coming out of last week’s team are Daniel Rioli (unused medi-sub), Toby Nankervis (knee), and Hugo Ralphsmith (omitted).
Ralphsmith, Rioli and untried talls Samson Ryan and Ben Miller have been named emergencies, with one of the four to be elevated to the medical sub 60 minutes before the opening bounce.
Saturday’s night game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 from 7pm AEST.
