Jason Castagna was a bright light in an otherwise bleak afternoon for Richmond against Sydney at the MCG last Saturday.
The triple Tiger premiership small forward celebrated his AFL 100-game milestone with a first-rate performance in the team’s 45-point loss.
He finished the match with 17 disposals, four inside-50s, five marks, two goals, six score involvements and 345 metres gained.
In trademark style, he ran hard right throughout the contest to provide the Tigers with offensive drive.
Castagna arguably is in career-best form across the first three rounds of the 2021 season, averaging 15.3 disposals, 6.0 marks, 3.0 inside-50s, 2.0 goals, 4.7 score involvements and 242.3 metres gained per game.
