Key forward Jonty Faull has earned his AFL debut, with the 19-year-old set to take to the field for the first time in his career in Gather Round.

Faull will face off against Fremantle at Barossa Park on Sunday afternoon, in Richmond's second interstate match this season.

The teenager was selected by Richmond with pick 14 in the 2024 AFL Draft and made an instant impact during pre-season.

He collected eight disposals in Richmond VFL's Round 1 win over Coburg, before picking up 13 touches and four marks the following week in the win over Sandringham.

But it was his Round 3 VFL performance against Brisbane, where he kicked two goals, that cemented his spot in the AFL side for Round 5.

The athletic tall becomes the fifth Club debutant in 2025, following in the footsteps of Sam Lalor, Luke Trainor and Harry Armstrong, all from Faull's Draft class, as well as Liam Fawcett.

The 195cm forward overcame a back injury to play some quality footy for the GWV Rebels and Vic Country last season.

He kicked 27 goals from 11 matches for the Rebels to force his way into the Coates Talent League Team of the Year, catching Richmond's eye in the process.

Faull is a mobile key forward who is still agile enough to hunt the ball at ground level, providing impact across the forward 50.
