Richmond has become the first AFL/VFL team in 89 years to go through an entire home-and-away season undefeated in Victoria.
The Tigers won all 17 of their Victorian games this season – 14 at the MCG and three at Etihad Stadium.
You have to go way back to 1929 for the only other time this has occurred in league football history.
In that year, Collingwood won all 18 of its home-and-away games, before being beaten by Richmond in the second semi-final.
The Magpies, however, extracted revenge in the Grand Final, defeating the Tigers by 29 points.
