Richmond currently has the most AFL/VFL premiership players in its history.
There are 24 players on the Club’s playing list who have experienced premiership success at the game’s highest level with the Tigers.
That is one more than Richmond’s 1975 list contained, when the Club also was coming off back-to-back premierships back then.
The modern-day Tigers have a combined total of 60 premierships between them, while the ’75 squad, which included all-time Club greats such as Kevin Bartlett, Francis Bourke, Dick Clay, Michael Green, Royce Hart and Kevin Sheedy, had 48 all-up.
The 24 premiership players now on Richmond’s list are . . .
Trent Cotchin (three), Jack Riewoldt (three), Dustin Martin (three), Shane Edwards (three), Dylan Grimes (three), Nick Vlastuin (three), David Astbury (three), Bachar Houli (three), Dion Prestia (three), Toby Nankervis (three), Kane Lambert (three), Nathan Broad (three), Daniel Rioli (three), Jason Castagna (three), Tom Lynch (two), Jayden Short (two), Josh Caddy (two), Kamdyn McIntosh (two), Jack Graham (two), Liam Baker (two), Shai Bolton (two), Marlion Pickett (two), Ivan Soldo (one), Noah Balta (one).
The 23 premiership players on the Tigers’ 1975 list were . . .
